Terms and conditions for ticket insurance at TIMEBREAK Bonn

1. What is ticket insurance?

Ticket insurance is an optional additional service that can be purchased when booking an escape room at TIMEBREAK Bonn. It allows you to cancel or rebook a reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the booked date. The refund will be issued in the form of a voucher for a new booking.

2. Ticket insurance costs

  • The price is €10 gross per room.
  • If more than one room is booked, ticket insurance must be taken out separately for each room.

3. Cancellation and rebooking conditions

The following applies to ticket insurance:

  • Up to 48 hours before the appointment:
    • Free cancellation or rebooking.
    • The amount paid will be refunded in full as a voucher.
  • Less than 48 hours before the appointment:
    • A cancellation fee of €50 per room will be charged.
    • The remaining amount will be refunded as a voucher.
    • If the canceled appointment is rebooked by another group, we will also refund the $50 cancellation fee as a voucher.

Without ticket insurance, the statutory provisions apply, according to which cancellation and reimbursement are generally excluded (Section 312g (2) No. 9 BGB).

4. How can I cancel or rebook?

Cancellations or rebookings must be made by email, phone, or WhatsApp:

The date on which we receive the message shall be used to calculate the deadline.

5. Refunds and voucher terms and conditions

  • Refunds will only be issued in the form of a voucher for a new booking with TIMEBREAK Bonn.
  • The voucher is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • It is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
  • If a cancellation fee of €50 is incurred but is offset by another group booking the vacant slot, we will also refund the amount as a voucher.

6. Other information

  • Ticket insurance can only be purchased directly when booking an escape room. It is not possible to purchase insurance retrospectively.
  • The insurance is only valid for the originally booked date and cannot be transferred to a rebooking.
  • If the booked appointment is not attended without prior cancellation or rebooking (no-show), there is no entitlement to a refund or voucher.

By purchasing ticket insurance, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
